It's the long DepaRaya holiday. (sat-wed) I have 5 days off. However, on wednesday I still have to pop in to office to check my servers to ensure that they are okay. So it kinda sux, coz I have to be in KL on wednesday, if not, I could have possibly come back on wednesday night. I shouldn't complaint too much, at least I have a few days off better than working my ass like a mad cow in office. My close friends would have know that last 2 or 3 weeks I was super-duper busy. I am rushing for several things. No time to relax at all. So I am really glad that I have this "long" break to let myself enjoy abit. Saturday, I went dating with my beloved sister. Really had fun together. We went shopping at 1Utama, then we had genki for lunch. Came home unload all our stuff, and rest a while, then we went to Ling Ling's boutique. Chit-chatted for a while and off we went for Korean BBQ. Enjoyed the dinner, and later on went to Hartamas Shopping Centre to kill some time. Was still early before our lou kung chai was free to see us, so we went over to Ikano. Had a drink and it was almost 9pm-10pm. What I buy??  I bought a pair of shoes for office (YES!! Shoes a.g.a.i.n.), bought mummy's birthday present, bought a new beg, erm, what else?? Oh ya, a ring from Ling's boutique. Quite like the ring, probably will wear it for my annual dinner  . Of course I am happy with all the stuff I bought. But I think I enjoyed most was spending quality time with my darling sister  . We were laughing all the way, we were busy girl-talking about everything. LK met her friends at 1utama, we were both so surprised when...... LK Fren: "Eh your sister?"
Me and LK:    "Sister??"
LK Fren: "Both of you not sister mer?? relatives?? or cousins??"
Me and LK: " Nolar, you must be kidding, do we look alike?? good friends lar.... "
LK Fren: "Oh sorry ah...." This is the first time people say that we are sisters.... we were laughing all the way. Best of all was, I bought a new beg. Coincidently, my new beg looks similar to LK's current handbeg eventhough both begs are different brands. So I told LK, IF your friend happen to bump into us again, and IF he sees us using these begs, 100% confirm he sure thinks we are sisters. Anyway, on our way to dinner, LK and me had a serious talk. LK: "Hey we really cannot meet tooooo often."
Me: "Why? What's wrong?"
LK: "If we meet too often, we sure be pokai and be fatty bom-bom"
LK and Me: "WAHAHHAHHAHAHAH " This is because we encourage each other to buy whatever we like. We can't control each other. And because we love each other so much, I allow her to eat/buy whatever she wants, and she allows me to buy/eat whatever I want. This is the "beauty" of us. If we meet too often, we really can be broke.    So, this long holiday, I also went back to penang. I am proud to say, I drove all the way from KL-Penang, Penang-KL. I even drove in Penang. Mind you, the drivers in Penang is terrible, they are quite fierce in driving, can be quite scary at times. But dunno why, I was brave enough and drove all the way. Quite tiring though. We ate so much in penang, cendol, asam laksa, char kuey teow, seafood noodle/porridge, fried oyster (OH Jien), Kuey Zhap, Duck noodle (bidor), white coffee (ipoh), green tea ice cream, chicken chop (gordon Bleu). I didn't eat everything, because it was tooooo much. So I only selected my favourite. Brother took everything, and he really enjoyed it. That's pretty much for my holidays, officially back to work on thursday. But unofficially back to work on wednesday.  |
